The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Health Sciences Faculty, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics held the 3rd Student Panel on Wednesday, the 4th of December 2019. The said panel commenced at 15:00, in the amphitheatre SBF YB006. The panel coordinated by EMU Health Sciences Faculty, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics academic staff member Prof. Dr. Perihan Arslan featured the following presentations under the heading of “Sport and Nutrition”: “The Importance of Pre and Post-Diet Workouts” by Buğra Cenker Atıcı, Energy, “Macro and Micro Nutrients in Football” by Ceren Çizmeci, “Specific Micro Nutrient Deficiencies in Football” by Yasemin Öztinen and “Ergogenic Aids Specific to Football” by Yağmur Başaran. The panel chair was Cansu Arslanbaş at the event presented by EMU Health Sciences Faculty, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics student representative Mecde Çelen. The panel was attended by players from the youth team of Dumlupınar Turkish Sports Club who received certificates of appreciation at the end of the panel.
